A local university engaged Captivate Interior Design to develop an acoustic sound installation that would significantly reduce sound transfer from the foyer to offices above to the existing atrium. It needed to be installed under and above an existing stairwell, maintain air conditioning circulation and allow penetration of natural light whilst also being attractive and artistic. We instituted a commercial design strategy that included precision design, documentation, fabrication and installation. Here you can see what we created.
